SSWL achieved total wheel rim sales of 13.05 Lacs Vs 11.07 Lacs in October 2017 representing a growth of 18% YoY. The pickup in volumes was broad based with special focus on truck and tractor segment.

Dappar Plant Achieved highest Tractor Sales in October 2017.

In terms of Value, the company has achieved gross turnover of Rs 166.85 Crs in October 2017 Vs 108.47 Crs in October 2016, there by recording a growth of 54% and achieved Net turnover of Rs.134.96 Crs in October 2017 VsRs. 97.19 Crs in October 2016, recording a growth of 39%. The record turnover & sales were driven by very good growth in truck and tractor segment and we expect this trend to continue going ahead.

Segment wise Breakup of growth

Passenger car segment volumes grew by 2% in October 2017 YoY. The PV segment saw muted growth with sales already at record levels and we have started another new model from chennai plant, which will add to growth going ahead.

Tractor volumes grew by 29% in October 2017 YoY. The tractor segment saw continued growth and we expect this high double digit growth to continue with more penetration in to each customer. We expect the trend of upward of 20% growth to continue.

LCV & MHCV segment volumes grew by 44% YoY in October 2017. The CV segment witnessed very good growth and we are anticipating the segment to witness good growth in the second half and will be well supported by our CV plant in Chennai.

2&3 wheelers segment fell by 29% in October 2017 YoY. This segment a sharp rebound on festive cheer and we expect the sales to witness high double digit growth going in the second half of the year.

Exports volumes grew by 46% in October 2017. Exports shipments were up 46% in October 2017. The exports grew with new order ramping up for after market customers. The after market segment for truck is the next focus area where company has started receiving orders.
