SSWL clocks highest ever monthly sales second time in a row

    SSWL is enthused to announce that in August 2016, SSWL achieved total wheel rim sales of 12.93Lacs Vs 11.14 Lacs in August 2015 representing a 16% YoY growth. The company recently revised its guidance upwards and expects it to achieve comfortably going into September.

    SSWL registers highest ever sales volume of 12.93Lacs vs. 12.63Lacs as its previous highest in July 2016.

    Dapper plant registers its highest production and sales in August 2016 and with these sales the rated capacity of dapper plant moved up to 10million vs. 9mn previously declared.

    In terms of Value, the company has achieved gross turnover of Rs 116.41Crs in August 2016 Vs 119.44Crs in August 2015, there by recording contraction of 2.5% and achieved Net turnover of Rs.104.77Crs in August 2016 Vs Rs. 107.63Crs in August 2015, recording a contraction of 2.6%. the contraction is majorly due to the Raw material price drop of close to 20% which is now applicable on 100% of the customers.

    Passenger car segment grew 18% in August 2016 YoY. The PV segment growth surpassed the market growth as the entire model are running full steam ahead of festive season and the company gaining major market share with passenger car makers.

    2&3 wheelers segment grew by 34% in August 2016 YoY. The segment grew in high double digit with all the push coming ahead of festive season and the new pay commission money coming into consumers hands in august. We expect this to continue going ahead into festive season with a lot of pentup demand in this segment.

    LCV & MHCV segment volumes dropped by 7% YoY in August 2016. The CV segment saw a volume drop in this month due to seasonality and slow pickup from end customers. The festive demand coupled with depreciation benefit months will see the recovery going ahead.

    Domestic Tractor segment volumes grew by 14% in August 2016 YoY. The tractor segment is doing good with good monsoon giving a helping hand for the segment. The segment will continue to see high double digit going ahead for next 3-4 months which are season for tractor sales.

    Exports volumes picked up by 5% in August 2016. Exports shipments were up 5% in August 2016 and we expect the shipments to grow at 10% plus for the FY 16-17.
